Feishu Document Converter ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how our Chrome extension handles information when you use our service to convert Feishu documents to WeChat articles.
Information We Collect
Local Data Storage
- User preferences (theme selection from 6 available themes: Default, ByteDance, Apple, Sports, Chinese, Cyberpunk)
- Font size settings (Small 14px, Medium 15px, Large 16px)
- API configuration (optional MD2WeChat API key for WeChat formatting)
- Extension settings and configuration
Data We Do NOT Collect
- Personal information or identity data
- Document content (not stored permanently)
- Browsing history or behavior tracking
- Analytics or usage statistics
- Account information or credentials
How We Use Information
Local Processing
- All document conversion happens locally in your browser
- No document content is sent to our servers
- Settings are stored locally using Chrome's storage API
- Theme preferences and font sizes are saved for better user experience
Third-Party Services
- WeChat theme formatting uses MD2WeChat API (optional feature)
- Only activated when user provides API key and chooses WeChat preview
- Users have full control over what content is processed
- Supports 6 beautiful themes for WeChat article formatting
Data Sharing
We do not share, sell, or distribute any user data to third parties, except:
- When using optional WeChat formatting (user-initiated with explicit consent)
- As required by law or legal process
Data Security
- All processing occurs locally in your browser
- No permanent storage of document content
- API keys are stored securely in Chrome's encrypted storage
- No data transmission without user consent
Your Rights
- Delete all stored data by removing the extension
- Clear settings through the extension's settings page
- Full control over document conversion process
- Choose which theme and formatting options to use
Extension Permissions
Our extension requests the following permissions:
- contextMenus: Add conversion options to right-click menu on Feishu documents
- scripting: Read document content from supported Feishu domains for conversion
- sidePanel: Provide sidebar interface for conversion and theme selection
- tabs: Identify active Feishu document pages
- storage: Store user preferences (themes, font sizes, API settings)
- host_permissions: Access only Feishu-related domains (*.feishu.cn, *.feishu.net, *.larksuite.com, etc.)
Changes to Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of the extension constitutes acceptance of any changes.
